Indian representative, Shubham Kothambikar from Shiroda created history by becoming the very first model of Indian origin to win the Runway Model Universe competition, held last night, May 31, 2025, in the Philippines. Alongside that he also won 3 special awards, Cultural Fashion Wear award, Model Figure award and Klimawear Ambassador award.
